The story is about a toxic environment and what it is doing to humanity. As the human species adapts to a synthetic environment, the body undergoes new transformations and mutations. Accompanied by his partner, celebrity performance artist Saul Tenser showcases the metamorphosis of his organs. Meanwhile, a mysterious group tries to use Saul’s notoriety to shed light on the next phase of human evolution.
“Crimes of the Future” is a polarizing film, with some viewers finding it a thought-provoking and visually stunning exploration of human evolution and the body, while others find it boring, plotless, or even disturbing. The narrative is slow-run, but feels good like a thriller and a fine glass of wine had a baby. The film is not for children. All viewers should be over the age of 18.
