“Daphnis and Chloe” – By Jacques-Gustave Hamelin (1809-1895), French artist – (charcoal and white lead on paper, with artistic romantic styling). Not much is known about the artist except he was a recluse and a teacher. He did paintings which were later turned into engravings for books.
