ARTWORK: Erzsebet Korb (1899-1925) – Was a successful female Hungarian painter. The daughter of a very famous architect, Erzsébet Korb studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Budapest.
She was a student of István Réti, and then worked in the artists’ workshops of Nagybánya and Gödöllö (cities in Hungary). Tragically, she was only 26 years old when she died suddenly of unknown reasons.
