The genre of sci-fi has been defined and enhanced, by the sub-genre of Cyberpunk. Cyberpunk is a dystopian vision of the future that has prophetic features to it. Almost like magic, the sci-fi writers and creators envision worlds decades ahead of their time. Warning their fans of what is to come. Some listen and take action, others blame “cow farts” or the “weakness of the intellectual elites.” Oh well, start listening and watching. The Cyberpunk of the past is predicting our current future.
