Kazimierz Alchimowicz was a Polish romantic painter who did academic male nudes, female nudes, and landscapes. From 1876 to 1878, he lived in Paris and exhibited at the Salon. He was also fascinated and produced commissions on Polish peasant life in small villages. Many of these works were used to increase tourism to Poland.
