ABOUT THE MODEL:
The model was a factory worker who also was employed as a trainer/janitor at gym. Later served his country in the fight against hate and fascism in WW2 for England. Not much is known about the model following the war. Art historians know he survived the war, married, and had children. Some art history rumors mention he later moved to Canada. Others say, the model did die in WW2. Regardless, we’re thankful to both Harold Knight and this young man for capturing the male beauty.
