ABOUT THE ARTIST:

Claudio Bravo was a Chilean (Chile) artist and painter, who was greatly influenced by the wonders of the Italian Renaissance and Baroque artists. He also was a champion Surrealism and admired Surrealist giants such as Salvador Dali.

His life was full of color and travel. He lived in Tangier, Morocco and also called NYC, Barcelona, and Madrid home. He was known for his many paintings of still life, portraits and figurative paintings of men, but he had also done drawings, lithographs, engraving and figural bronze sculptures (nude and clothed). His career was successful, and he made a lucrative business doing portraits.
