Object of fascination since the triumph of its first screening in 1927, one of the greatest films in the history of cinema will have known several variants, including disappearance and resurrection, up to the “Great Version” wanted by Gance. Rebuilt and restored by the French Cinematheque under the direction of Georges Mourier, the work strikes, a century after its shooting, with its visual audacity and technical prowess (triple screen). From childhood in Brienne to the Italian countryside, through the French Revolution, the Napoleonic epic in all its splendor and excess found. The set consists of the following:
