ARTWORK:

Working on a sculpture, 1955.

Using his own measurements and sketches to create the pattern, Jimmy worked with Pegot Waring in her West Hollywood studio.

Quite the Renaissance man, Jimmy was interested in many arts in addition to acting- sculpting, painting, drumming, poetry- and friends noted his interest in potentially directing someday.

The unfinished sculpture can be seen, along with the tools he used and the James Dean belt pictured, at The James Dean Museum in Fairmount, IN.
