Gustav Klimt, the Austrian genius of ornamental and symbolist art, would be 161 years old this year.
He was born on July 14th, 1862, and is the most famous Austrian painter. Gustav Klimt was born in Vienna Baumgarten to a family of goldsmiths. He was one of the prominent representatives of the Vienna Secession Movement. He is known for his beautiful portraits of women and murals. He is also known for his beautiful couple works too.
