DAY 3 — STRONG GLUTES, BETTER LOVERS?
The Bubble Butt Issue continues—and today BEAUX HOMMES asks whether there may be more behind a great backside than good looks.

Welcome to Day 3 of THE BUBBLE BUTT ISSUE.

Yesterday, we talked about appreciating beauty without shame.

Today, we are going one step further.

We are talking about what those buns can do.

Yes, BEAUX HOMMES is asking the question everyone at the editorial table was eventually going to ask:

Do men with strong glutes make better lovers?

Our answer?

They certainly have some useful equipment.

But—as with almost everything involving romance—the body is only part of the story.

THERE IS REAL POWER BACK THERE

The gluteal muscles are not ornamental additions to the human body.

They help us stand, walk, run, climb, stabilize the pelvis and generate power through the hips. Strong glutes contribute to athletic movement and can help support good overall physical function.

That means the backside BEAUX HOMMES is having so much fun celebrating is also an extraordinary piece of human engineering.

A developed backside can suggest training.

Movement.

Strength.

Balance.

Athleticism.

And yes, those qualities can matter during intimacy too.

But before anyone starts measuring romance with a tape measure, remember:

Big does not automatically mean strong, and strong does not automatically mean skilled.

We are celebrating the body—not inventing a new entrance examination for dating.

WHY STRONG GLUTES MAY HELP IN THE BEDROOM

There is a simple mechanical reason behind today’s provocative premise.

The hips and glutes participate in many of the movements involved in physical intimacy. Strength, endurance, coordination and mobility can all make movement easier and more comfortable.

So a man who trains his lower body seriously may bring some useful physical advantages into his romantic life.

But here’s the important part:

The best lover is still attached to a brain.

A spectacular backside cannot listen.

It cannot communicate.

It cannot notice whether a partner is comfortable.

It cannot create trust.

It cannot make someone laugh afterward.

Those things belong to the person.

And that is why BEAUX HOMMES refuses to reduce anybody—even someone with absolutely magnificent glutes—to anatomy.

THE BODY GETS YOUR ATTENTION. THE PERSON KEEPS IT.

Attraction matters.

We don’t pretend otherwise.

Maybe you notice his shoulders first.

Maybe his beard.

Maybe his legs.

Maybe he turns around and suddenly you forget whatever brilliant thing you were about to say.

Fine.

Enjoy the moment.

But long-term attraction usually becomes richer when physical desire joins something else:

Humor.

Kindness.

Confidence.

Curiosity.

Intelligence.

Generosity.

Conversation.

Chemistry.

That is when somebody stops merely being beautiful and becomes fascinating.

TRAIN THE WHOLE MAN

If you want stronger glutes, train them.

Squats, hinges, lunges, step-ups and other appropriately programmed resistance exercises can all contribute to a stronger lower body.

But BEAUX HOMMES has another training program in mind too.

Train yourself to communicate.

Train yourself to listen.

Train yourself to accept rejection gracefully.

Train yourself to tell somebody what you enjoy without embarrassment.

Train yourself to ask what they enjoy.

Train yourself to remain curious about another human being.

Those exercises do not show up in the mirror.

They show up in relationships.

AND PLEASE—LOVE THE BODY YOU ALREADY HAVE

The Bubble Butt Issue is deliberately exaggerated and playful.

We are showing extraordinary bodies.

Big personalities.

Fashion.

Muscle.

Curves.

Fantasy.

But fantasy should make life more enjoyable—not make you hate yourself.

Not everyone has enormous glutes.

Not everyone wants them.

Some people are lean.

Some are thick.

Some are naturally curvy.

Some are highly muscular.

Bodies change with age, genetics, training and life.

There is no single authorized shape for being desirable.

Our broader message throughout this issue remains the same:

Beauty has more than one angle.
THE BUBBLE BUTT IS ALSO ART

Artists understood the expressive power of the human backside long before BEAUX HOMMES arrived.

Classical sculpture celebrates the relationship among the back, hips, thighs and glutes because those structures help communicate motion and physical strength.

Painters studied them.

Sculptors modeled them.

Photographers light them.

Fashion designers spend careers figuring out how trousers should move around them.

So yes, our Bubble Butt Issue is mischievous.

But it is also part of a much older conversation about the human form.

The backside can be humorous.

Erotic.

Athletic.

Sculptural.

Beautiful.

Sometimes all at once.

OUR DAY 3 ADVICE

Admire the buns.

Build yours if you want to.

Compliment somebody respectfully.

Enjoy attraction without embarrassment.

But don’t confuse a beautiful body with a complete human being.

The man with the magnificent backside still needs character.

The woman admiring him deserves respect.

The gay man checking him out deserves the same.

So does the bisexual man.

So does the woman over 50 who has no intention of pretending she suddenly stopped noticing handsome men.

Beauty belongs to everyone willing to see it.

And desire does not come with an expiration date.

SO—DO MEN WITH STRONG GLUTES MAKE THE BEST LOVERS?

Sometimes.

Maybe even frequently enough to keep our investigation going.

But BEAUX HOMMES has reached a preliminary editorial conclusion:

Strong glutes are an excellent beginning.

A strong mind helps.

A generous heart helps more.

And knowing what you’re doing with all three?

Now we’re getting somewhere.

Keep strong.

Keep curious.

Keep laughing.

And above all—

KEEP LOVING BEAUTY.

No shame in that.
