ARTWORK:
“Vulcan” – After Louis Chéron (1660 – ca. 1725), Engraved by Gerard Vandergucht (1696-1776). The engraver was Dutch but did live and work in Paris. The model for the Vulcan is unknown. All we know is his name was Gil. He was from Belgium (small town).
