ABOUT THE ARTIST:

Originally from the city-state of Monaco, Bosio moved to France and found tremendous praise and work in Paris during the first quarter of the nineteenth century (1800s). His did sculptors for both Napoleon and for the restored French monarchy, following the fall of Napoleon and the restoration of the Bourbons.
