SUMMER OF SCI-FI: 06.01.2023 to 09.01.2023

“LADIES and BEAUX HOMMES readers, we send you love from PARIS! We hope you’re enjoying the Summer of Sci-Fi 2023. We have more surprises, fun, and all things sci-fi for you. Science fiction is like a prophet. The genre can accurately predict the future in some instances. The sci-fi of the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s all predicted a scorched Earth by pollution made by humans, versus an alien invasion. Yet, we find ourselves in a “I Told U So,” world in terms of the heat this summer. C’est La Vie on that one for sure.

With that said, for the closing month of the 2023 Summer of Sci-Fi super-issue, we’re exploring the gross, gooey, and downright disgusting sci-fi. Parasites, plagues, zombies, bites, and all things that are yucky from the world of biology mostly. Although the other scientific disciplines, like physics, chemistry, and others apply too. We’ll explore them, comment on them, and make some wonderful recommendations for your reading and viewing pleasure. Thanks for stopping by and checking out the super-issue. More coming and the next 30 days will be fun. Kisses from PARIS!!!”
