This is the third film in the original four-film version, prior to the short-lived TV show in America. This film is poignant and takes you to deep adult levels of thinking on heavy topics, such as time-travel, controlling the future, and other “dark” topics. The film finds the adorable apes from the first film using the spacecraft that crashed in their time and returning to Earth of the 20th century. During the age of spaceflight and before the fictional nuclear holocaust. The acting and casts are incredible. The film only uses the ape costumes and makeup. The other sets and costumes are contemporary 1970s.Â
The acting is superb and the concepts presented are true sci-fi. We won’t ruin the rest. Rent this film today.
