The Dream That Never Was – We love SPACE:1999
Where is our moon buggy and Moon Base Alpha? We went to the moon in the 1960s and 1970s. Many of a certain age, were sure that they were going to be doing vacations on the moon. Alas, it wasn’t to be. Some say the money is in rusted military equipment in the jungles of Vietnam and the sands of Iraq. Who’s to say. Regardless of theories, conspiracies, or just plain social media talk; we find ourselves not living in the future as depicted by the wonderful television series, SPACE:1999.
A show that is a “must watch” for those aspire to do creative projects or love sci-fi, or want inspiration for their next fashion show or collection. The sets and costumes, from Season 1 are a designer’s dream.Â
We encourage all our readers to check out the joys of SPACE:1999. Start with the Breakaway episode and then keep on going. The men featured in the series were extremely handsome. Sci-fi “eye-candy” for sure.
