HALLOWEEN ISSUE:
This film isn’t easily forgotten and has a story that is topical and entertaining. It is the tale of a husband-and-wife team who go to investigate weird and strange occurrences in the local lumber industry in Maine (USA). They discover horrors that are unspeakable and the film drives home the impact of taking care of our environment. The lumber industry clashes with the local Native American population, who sound the alarm on what is happening. The story is a solid mystery and very scary. This is a wonderful “popcorn movie” for the Halloween season.
