We have a “gem” of a film for you this Halloween season. This is the film to add to your watchlist this autumn. Brotherhood of The Wolf is set during the 1700s. Prior to the French Revolution. The film is about two “Soldiers of Fortune,” who are hired by the King of France to investigate a rash of slayings in the valley. The townspeople, church, and local officials feel these deaths are attributed to a “werewolf,” or something of the supernatural realm.
The Chevalier de Fronsac and his native American friend Mani, from the “New World,” are sent by the King to the Gevaudan province to investigate situation. They discover secrets and help and trickery from the most unusual sources. The film has lavish costumes and sets. Perfect for those who want a historical Halloween film.Â
